ONE FABULOUS SKIRT TWO WAYS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you have had a great week! Mine has been extra busy with some fun girl nights (two of them). This week has been the first time in a long time that I have felt some normalcy. I am so excited today to be partnering with Saks Fifth Avenue! Saks Fifth Avenue has been one of my very favorite retailers for so many years now. They are renowned for their designer collections, handbags, shoes (they have their own zip code!), jewelry, and cosmetics. Their website is so easy to shop, and when I visit New York, it is my first stop! I love their holiday windows too! Today, I am showing one fabulous skirt two ways for the holidays from Saks.
Styling My Skirt
I hope you all will be attending a least one holiday party this year (hopefully more!). Isn’t it fun to think about getting dressed up for a party again? I love finding one great piece that I can wear multiple ways when looking for a particular event. Also, I have purchased several dresses for parties over the years only to wear them one time. I like finding a fabulous skirt or pair of pants that can be worn over and in different ways. How beautiful is this filigree patterned high-waist skirt from Alice + Olivia? It’s actually prettier in person if you can believe it. I love this skirt for an evening event or party paired with a black top and heels, but I also love it just as much mixed with a tee, leather jacket, and combat boots for an edgier look.
I paired my skirt with a black sweater and think it looks great with a black turtleneck as well. I chose to wear my Bottega Veneta sandals with it (hey, gotta get that cost per wear) but love a black pump with the skirt.

More Skirts
I paired the skirt (below) with a (running low on this one) graphic tee (another cute one here), leather jacket (similar), and combat boots to give the skirt that edgier look. I would wear this to a holiday luncheon or a less formal party. Someone needs to invite me to an art exhibit because this is what I would wear! Anyway, there are so many great pieces at Saks Fifth Avenue for every occasion you are looking for or for just everyday wear. So, since I am focused on dressing for the holidays, how beautiful is this green blazer or sequined jacket to put with a simple pair of black pants (which also come in green to match the green blazer)? Another great party look!
I found a few more great party skirts that can easily be worn multiple times this holiday season and throughout winter. Also, this handkerchief hem plissé metallic beauty. It does have a matching top, but I would wear it with a black or white top just as easily. I love velvet, and this winter white pleated skirt is gorgeous and this metallic pleated stunner (the price is crazy good!).
