This week, I’ve been listening to the song, What He’s Done, on repeat. I love listening to praise music all the time, but especially when I feel stressed or anxious.
This song is a good reminder of What God’s Done…Jesus paid it all for us. Oh, how thankful I am that he died for a sinner like me.
A friend of ours lost her husband this week. They are an amazing couple, and he had just retired from full-time ministry as a pastor. He was a runner and ran marathons.
She shared a sweet testimony on Facebook and ended with this, “My family and I are looking forward to sharing with you the constant presence of Jesus that we experienced through this journey.”
Isn’t that just how God works? When we are going through some of the deepest pain, like losing a loved one, he shows up in a mighty way, and I love that my friend wants to share it.
This is how we want to live as believers. We shine Jesus! In the good, in the bad, in the hard, all glory to Jesus.
Ladies, I’m praying for you today. Whatever our day holds, let’s shine Jesus!
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
