November 12, 2020 is when the Sony Playstation 5 finally gets released in North America (11/19/2020 in UK and rest of Europe)! Perhaps every gamer, tech geek, wives, and most kids and parents are waiting for the much-anticipated release. After pre-orders have sold out in like a blink of an eye, everyone who wasn’t able to pre-order will be glued to their computers and/or mobile devices (including me) on release date. Who else is going to pull an all-nighter and wait? 
Top Tech Holiday Wish this 2020: Sony Playstation 5
Obviously, with the latest gaming console being released close to the Holidays (as always), it gets the top spot for tech holiday wish and/or gift this 2020. Despite the current economic situation due to the pandemic, the sold out pre-orders only prove that people wanna get their hands on this next-level gaming console no matter what. Where To Buy The Playstation 5
Earlier this month, Sony mentioned in a Tweet that the PS5 launch will only be available online due to COVID. Had they not made that decision, we probably would have seen people camp outside stores. People are that anxious to get the latest top of the line gaming console. That said, I’ve listed all online retailers that will be selling the Playstation 5 on release date:
- Walmart: PS5 Console | PS5 Digital Edition – *will release at 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM and 9PM* – UPDATE: restocking on December 15 at 3PM ET
- Target: PS5 Console | PS5 Digital Edition
- Amazon: PS5 Console | PS5 Digital Edition
- Sam’s Club: PS5 Console – UPDATE: bundles restocking on December 15!
- Best Buy: PS5 Console | PS5 Digital Edition – UPDATE: restocking on December 15 after 9AM ET
- B&H Photo: PS5 Console
- Gamestop: PS5 Console | PS5 Digital Edition
So far, we know that Walmart is going to start selling them online at 12 PM ET. I heard rumors that Target might do the same. But I’ll be up at midnight checking! *UPDATE: Target had limited stocks at 12 midnight and 1 am. Will continue to check.*
Best Buy and Walmart seem to have saved some stocks for Black Friday. So if you don’t get any on launch date, you have another chance. Made it easier for you by linking everything below, including other accessories that are sold separately:
