THREE SMALL BLONDES
No, you’re not seeing double… You’re seeing triple! One Small Blonde has officially become “three small blondes”. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing it’s been having Kendall and Lindsey helping me out this year. I’ve desperately wanted to expand my team because I have needed help managing all the ventures I have on my plate. I absolutely love coming up with the ideas, but execution and management is where I struggle. I’ve learned the best business women are those who have a tribe behind them.
If I want this blog and my other business ventures to succeed then I need a tribe. That’s part of the reason why I had such “burnout” earlier this year. I just couldn’t do it all… I wanted to be able to do it all, but I needed help. When I was going through the “burnout” I was so close to giving up blogging completely and get a normal marketing job. That’s when Kendall appeared…
OMG the timing could not have been more perfect with Kendall! She basically runs the show now…
Okay, let’s get to know these other two blonde babes!!
MEET KENDALL
“PR Manager and Sales”
First off, doesn’t she look like a little Barbie?! She is the cutest and sweetest thing. I met Kendall through my blogger friend, Tanya Foster. Kendall was in PR, but when COVID hit like many people her job status changed. Obviously an unfortunate situation, but a blessing for me!
Like I said earlier, she basically runs the show now… Seriously, with my two surgeries and moving she has been my saving grace. Kendall handles all of the posts you see on LiketoKnow.it. So, all of the collages and extra photos you see us post on the app that’s her job. I still come up with the ideas for collages and what to post, but she is doing the behind the scenes work. And let me just tell you… she CRUSHES it.
Since she also has a background in public relations, she is now going to be in charge of helping me manage my brand partnerships. Not to mention, she has also been helping me with any other little things I need her to do. I literally don’t know what I would do without her anymore!
Kendall is from Dallas, and went to school at University of South Carolina. She also just got married!! Poor thing had to move her wedding due to COVID, but luckily was still able to have the wedding. Her photos were stunning and she looked absolutely beautiful!
P.S. I wish my hair was as blonde as hers…
MEET LINDSEY
“Intern”
Honestly, Lindsey reminds me so much of myself at her age! She is a senior at TCU, and I remember the first time I met with her to talk about being an intern for One Small Blonde. She was wearing this super cute black t-shirt dress and Golden Goose sneakers. Totally my style.
Lindsey actually reached out to me about being an intern because her mom followed me. So cute. She has been very eager to learn and help which is exactly the type of person I need on my team! I love her excitement about the blog and willingness to help out with anything. She has the best personality and is such a sweetheart.
After she graduates in May, she hopes to move to Dallas and get a marketing job. My fingers are crossed that I’ll be able to bring her on as part of the team to help me run some of my other businesses and expand the consulting business.
Right now, she is home in Phoenix for the holidays but she will still be making a few appearances on the blog! I’m trying to teach her how to take outfit photos because I think she would be such a good little blogger.
That’s the new blonde team! I’ve been hoping to find women like these two who can help me take the business to the next level because I truly think we could do some amazing things together. Let’s hope there are some incredible things to come in 2021!!
