Let me begin by saying I was on the anti-shacket train. I was convinced they weren’t for me. But, I started to see how they could be great layering pieces, and I found some I really like. Now I can’t get enough of them!

What is a shacket, you ask?

A shacket is the ultimate layering piece that effortlessly combines a shirt and a jacket. From lightweight materials to warm wooly textiles, there’s a shacket for everyone.

First, let’s talk about how to wear a shacket.

You can wear a women’s shirt jacket with almost anything. A shacket is multi-talented; you can wear it as a coat or over your favorite tee when the weather turns chilly.

Whether styling for work or play, day or night, shackets are a versatile layering option for any season.

What do you wear under a shacket?

You can wear just about anything under a shacket. When it comes to tops, choose from tees, tanks, turtlenecks, and lightweight sweaters.

The shacket I’m wearing from EVEREVE is more of a coat shacket.

I wore this when I went trick or treating with my grandkids.

This one from Amazon is a less expensive option. I would recommend sizing down with most shackets.
