THE PERFECT MULTI-OCCASION DRESS IN GORGEOUS GREEN
Hi, everyone! I hope you all are doing well! I am a day late posting because my dog ate my paper. Not really, but my WordPress did, and I had to start over. I don’t know how it happened, but I went back to add links to my post after writing it, and the post was gone. Uggghhhh! I couldn’t redo it and have it up by yesterday morning, so I am late. I have the busiest week. Why does it seem that some weeks are so calm and boring and others are a whirlwind? We are having my mom’s birthday party here this coming Sunday, and I am trying to get that together. Our yard looks awful at the moment because so many of our plants died during “snowmageddon.” Hopefully, by Sunday, the dead plants will be gone, and I will have nice healthy plants in their place. Speaking of parties, I wanted to show you all the perfect multi-occasion dress in gorgeous green.
I found this dress. a few weeks back, and was drawn to the color and fabric (with metallic threads). I wasn’t really thinking about buying a dress, but this dress is the perfect multi-occasion dress. This beauty is from Ted Baker, and I love that it has sleeves and a tie waist. It’s the perfect dress for weddings, graduations, showers, or luncheons. I can picture it spinning around on a dance floor at a reception! I wouldn’t say I like having to buy a dress for one particular occasion and then not wearing it again. This dress can be worn to so many places, and that’s why it came home with me!
I chose to wear my new Bottega Venetta sandals with this dress. I ordered these from a major department store and got an email notice that they were out of my size. The very next day, I happened to go on the Gilt website, and low and behold, they were having a Bottega sale. The shoes in my size were there at $100 off, and I snapped them up! Gilt is a great place to watch for fabulous designer pieces. Sometimes it’s not a great savings, but every little bit helps, right? I’m also carrying the bag that looks like Bottega, but it’s not. It’s the best dupe ever! If you order it, it does take quite a while to get to you.

I have a shoot today and then have to get more outfits together for another group shoot on Friday. The rest of the week is running errands and getting my house cleaned up for this party on Sunday. I wanted to give you all some other dress choices that I thought were multi-occasional. With events starting to take place (depending on where you are), you never know if you might need a fun dress. My fingers are crossed that you will!
