Hello, everyone! Well, it got super cold with snow and ice here in Dallas. I know a lot of other places got it too. We woke up on Thursday to a lot of ice on the ground, and by mid-day, huge snowflakes started coming down.

We also lost our power around 10 am and didn’t get it back on until 6:30 pm (why I’m late posting). That was fun! Seriously, it could have been a lot worse, and I am grateful that I have a roof over my head! Still, it was a little chilly!

I will tell you who loved the snow. My puppy was running around crazy-like and sticking her nose in it! Of course, she was bundled up in her itty bitty sweater!

THE MOST COMFORTABLE AND CHIC MATCHING SET

I wanted to show you all the most comfortable and chic matching set I recently bought. Athleisure is still a huge trend in clothes and shoes; however, I still feel a little sloppy wearing it out of the house.

This outfit from Club Monaco is just about the most flattering, stylish, and comfortable set that I have seen. What makes it so cool is the satin stripe down the side of the sweatshirt and pants. I love that the pants don’t have elastic at the bottom, making them seem a little dressier.

The fabric is made from a sand-washed scuba fabric that is so soft. This set also comes in a light purple and green that are very pretty, but something about the black gives it more sophistication.

I paired it with sneakers (similar to mine), but I will wear a flat sandal with it too. This is one set that I would actually wear to lunch, errands, or on a flight. It is the most comfortable and chic matching set!

Puffer Coat

I also bought this puffer coat recently. I die over this purple iridescent color!

It’s the perfect puffer for the weather we have had lately. My Chic at Every Age Girls showed a similar coat here in December that sold out super quickly (in the fun colors we are wearing). The coat I am wearing is less than $35! Yes, you read that right!

I told you all that I wouldn’t be a “Debbie Downer” in my next post (which is this one).
