Truth: Jesus had been walking with two men on the Emmaus road for hours, but they didn’t know it was Jesus. They had been sharing with him about how Jesus had been crucified, and they had hoped he was the Messiah.

Jesus shared with them all that the prophets had written, but it wasn’t until He sat down with them and broke bread that their eyes were opened, and they realized they were talking with Jesus.

We, too, can be like these men and miss Jesus if we don’t have our eyes open to see Him. Today, look for Him and know that he’s at work all around us.
