Truth: Small hurts over time can lead to bitterness. Deep wounds lead to anger and unforgiveness.

Either way, we don’t want to let go of them. Do you have anger and bitterness that you’re holding on to?

I imagine anger and bitterness like a heavy backpack. I have to take it off and lay it at the feet of Jesus. It’s too heavy to carry, and I want to be free from it.

Grace is so much lighter!
