Suit of the Week: Ann Taylor

758

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.

Ann Taylor has a number of brightly hued suits, if that’s your thing — a pale lavender, a bright coral, and this lovely “shadow leaf” suit (pictured) in their machine-washable bi-stretch fabric.

The pictured suit has a ton of matching pieces, including the collarless blazer pictured, a pencil skirt, full-length straight pants, ankle pants, an A-line dress, and a “high neck sheath dress.” Some of the pieces may be tricky to layer with the blazer, such as the two dresses, both of which have fairly loose sleeves, but hey. (I like the higher-necked sheath dress enough to buy it by itself!)

Pieces range from $89–$179, with most available in sizes 00–18 in regular, petite, and tall sizes. Nice.
