SNAKE-PRINT MAXI DRESS

Hello, friends! I hope everyone is doing great this morning! So, I woke up at four o’clock this morning and could not go back to sleep. I think the heaviness of everything going on in the world is getting to me.

Also, I have to admit that I read A LOT of stuff that I’m not sure is true or not, but much of it has come to fruition. This is such a crazy time that we are living in! Do you know what does make it better, though? Spending time with a new baby!

Guess what? My daughter let the night nurse go and hasn’t been able to find a nanny yet. Guess who is going to be spending a lot of time with that baby? Yay!

It’s hard to complain about how hot it is here in Dallas when I know that it will be like this every summer.

When you live in Texas, it’s just a given. However, we actually have had a pleasant summer until just recently. August and September are usually the hottest months here, which means finding pieces to wear that are cool is important. Enter this fabulous snake-print maxi dress!

Styling My Maxi Dress

This fun cotton snake-print maxi dress is perfect now and will be perfect going into fall with a leather jacket or cardigan (in the gold) over it.

The dress has a button front and pockets and is machine washable! It is a longer maxi dress. I am 5’6″ and can wear it with a flat sandal or a wedge like I am wearing. It does come in petite and plus sizes.

This dress is from Anthropologie, and I have to say that they do have some great “late summer” dresses that can go right into fall (a few of my favorites are below).
