Even though 2021 is poised to feel a little more normal than it did last year (here's hoping), that doesn't mean we're ready to go back to our same pre-pandemic dressing habits. Specifically, I'm referring to uncomfortable shoes that we suffered through for the sake of looking cool. But one of this season's big shoe trends is both comfortable and cool, so your feet can rest easy.

If you're like me, you probably spent a lot of 2020 in slippers and/or sneakers. If you're ready to slowly made the transition back to wearing real shoes, the puff shoe trend is for you.

Mostly in the form of sandals, shoes with puffy, quilted straps are heating up, and are being sold by go-to brands such as Zara, Staud, and the one that basically started the trend—Bottega Veneta.
