Good Morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was boring as “you know what.” I literally did nothing except for one thing on Sunday morning (which should have been church!). The entire weekend was rainy, cold, and weirdly foggy at times.

It was just blah! I was invited by a good friend to attend a meditation class on Sunday morning. I’ve done several meditation classes but never one like this. The class I did was called Gateless Writing Meditation.

We were led in meditation and then given a prompt phrase (it was “the song”) that we wrote about for twenty minutes. After the time was up, we all read our stories out loud. I had to really get out of my box! It was fascinating, and I would probably do it again!

I think it’s good to challenge yourself now and then!

BLACK BLAZER OUTFIT INSPIRATION

Today’s outfit inspiration: I know you all probably have a black blazer or several black blazers but aren’t they the best? They can pull any outfit together. Every time I purchase one, I always say, “why do I need another black blazer” but I always wear them. I particularly love this one I am wearing because it has a “Chanel” feel to it and is different from any other blazer I have.

And I love the gold crested buttons and a tweedy weave. I am partial to wearing my blazers with jeans. But a black (or any color) blazer works with just about everything.

I wore a light cashmere tee (brilliant idea to come up with) under the blazer and added my over the knee boots that are a few years old.

I was thinking of getting a new pair this year. But I decided these still work.

I love shoes and boots but haven’t purchased many this year because we all know why! I’m saving up for next year! One thing missing from this photo is the mask I have constantly been wearing. This mask is by far my favorite.

Wearing a mask honestly puts me in the worst mood (and I’d rather stay home than wear one), but this one sticks out far enough not to smash my nose or get on my lipgloss and it’s so comfortable.

Heading out this morning to workout and then get a much-needed mani/pedi. My toenails have had the same polish on them since before Christmas (Ewwww!)! We have our church small group dinner tonight. We have been meeting at different restaurants so that we can all be together.

It’s so nice and comforting that we’ve stayed together the last year.
