I spent a lot of time in a vehicle lately while we were on our road trip to Key West. Here are some of the things I had with me that made traveling so much easier, in addition to some things that caught my eye. Tips to Help You Organize Your Car
- Unload your car when you get home. There’s nothing like getting back into your vehicle to find your cupholders are full of dirty coffee mugs, empty water bottles, etc. I always take the extra minute to grab everything that doesn’t belong in the car before heading into the house.
- Get rid of trash as soon as possible! Whether you use one of the car trash cans I talk about below or throw it into a recycling or trash bin in your garage, it’s great not to be riding around with a bag of Chic-fil-a wrappers or an empty Starbucks cup for a week.
- Give everything a place to be, so it isn’t just lying in your passenger seat or shoved in your console. Once you assign a designated spot for miscellaneous items like coins, tissues, masks, sunglasses, etc., you can stay on track by making sure everything makes it back into its place after using it.

When I have my eyes fixed on Jesus instead of my circumstances, I remember He is faithful. He has been faithful in my past, and He will be faithful in my future.
