METALLICS FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND BEYOND

Hello, ladies! Are you all hanging in there? I have to admit that I am a little bit overwhelmed. I haven’t finished Christmas shopping or wrapping yet.

My sweet mom came over on Sunday to help me wrap some gifts, but I still have a long way to go. I try to make everything as even as possible with the kids and grandkids, but I haven’t done a good job of keeping up with it. I think I am off this year! Thank goodness there are almost two weeks left to get it together!

Today, I wanted to show you a fantastic metallic faux leather jacket Heather, and I found last week while shopping at Nordstrom.

We both fell in love with it because metallics are everywhere, and neither of us had a gold metallic blazer, plus, it has a great price point! This is a fabulous one for the holidays, but I would wear this blazer with white jeans and sandals in the Spring. Don’t limit your metallics just to holiday dressing. I paired my blazer with a fun studded collar tee and dark denim.

I like how Heather incorporated a charcoal-colored bodysuit with the blazer.

For this look, I wore a lightweight velvet blazer ( $89, selling quickly), a metallic tee, and dark grey jeans.

I bought this sweatshirt last year, and it is still in stock. The rhinestone detail is gorgeous! I did, however, find a very reasonably priced similar one HERE. I paired it with these fantastic silver metallic jeans that were just re-stocked!

I know this is not metallic, but sometimes I post looks to Instagram that don’t end up on my blog. I love this sweater and boots! I’ve worn both pieces a lot already!

I am shooting today for the blog and then headed home to wrap gifts again! I want to be able to ship all of my out-of-town gifts by tomorrow. This does not sound like I’m in the Holiday Spirit, but I want these gifts out of my house and into the mail.

I want to beat the shipping rush lines, and looking at them makes me stressed! Does anyone else feel like that? Deep Breaths, everyone!
