Happy Sunday, ladies! Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week. We go to church and then we have lunch at our house with my daughter and her family.
Sometimes our son will drive down and eat with us too (he lives almost 2 hours away).
It’s become a tradition, and I like traditions. The older I get, the more I cherish the times we spend together as a family.
This past year has made me cherish those times even more. Life is a gift, and it’s the simple things that I cherish, like a warm home, food, and health.
This pandemic has taken a toll on all of us. I’ve talked to young moms who have struggled with homeschooling, I’ve also talked to older adults who have felt isolated and lonely.
It’s so easy to become fearful and to worry about our future. God reminds us over and over in scripture to not fear.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
I read this quote yesterday, and it’s a good way to start our day:
Remember, life is a gift. Let’s love deeply, forgive quickly, and cherish every moment with our family and friends.
This video is so powerful; I don’t know what you’re facing today but let me encourage you to keep going. Don’t ever give up!
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. John 10:10
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Have a blessed day!
