I’m in a Fashion Rut, So I Found 7 Outfit Ideas That I Want to Try ASAP

163

Every winter, I inevitably fall into a fashion rut. I tell myself it won't happen this time, but I just can't help it. The sweatsuits come out and before I know it, I haven't worn real clothes in weeks. Although I always end up making my way out in due time, it takes quite the motivation to get me back into the groove. With the latest drops of our very own Who What Wear Collection, I've taken note of my fellow editors and influencers styling the pieces in top-notch fits and I have to say, I'm inspired. Each outfit meets the perfect in-between of trendy and classic, which is exactly the vibe I want for my 2022 looks.

While I won't be ditching my sweats completely, I'm using the looks below to get me back into the groove again. Feel free to keep scrolling, peruse, and add any look you want to your mood-board. I've also shopped out each outfit, in case you're in the mood to do a little shopping. (The top-notch styling may just convince you to add these pieces to your cart.)

When an outfit is cozy and polished—I'm always on board. I'm already wearing cozy socks at home, so a matching skirt is a no-brainer choice. Top it off with a blazer and it completed the whole look perfectly.

While some people think of shackets as their go-to staple, I actually find trouble styling the piece. I always resort to pairing mine with jeans and lean towards the casual side, but this skirt combo reminds me that it can be dressed up too.

When I saw this outfit, I knew I wanted to copy it immediately. I'm not sure what about it is my favorite part—the celery green lettuce edge skirt, or the cinched belt over the vintage blazer.

Matching sets can often look repetitive, which is why it's all in the accessories. It's a simple ensemble, but all it takes is a fuzzy bucket hat and chunky mules to take it to the next level.

I'm taking notes from this look to experiment more with color this season. Who would've thought mint green pairs well with tangerine?

When it comes to dress outfits, I prefer layering. While this tiered dress would look great as is, the blazer adds that "cool-girl" element I will always appreciate.

A pair of chunky loafers are on my wishlist this season, and now I know how I'll be styling them. A pair of thick knit socks will not only keep my feet warm, but they pair extremely well with my new shoes.
