HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND GIFTS UNDER $50
Happy Thanksgiving! How are you celebrating the day? Are you watching the Macy’s Day Parade and Dog Show, or are you in the kitchen cooking up a storm? We are watching the parade with the grandkids this morning and then cooking the rest of the day. We have a house full until Sunday, and I am so thankful for all of the commotion and this crazy family of mine! It may not look like this in years to come (everyone here), but I am so happy right this moment! I’m equally happy to have such good friends that I can count on in my life. I’ve always heard that if you can count your true friends, on one hand, you are lucky. I feel very blessed that I would have to pull in the second hand on that. I am equally thankful for each one of you. You all have been so loyal and sweet, and if it weren’t for you, this blog wouldn’t exist! I am deeply grateful!
Speaking of good friends, how cute is my fantastic friend, Janet? We have been friends for about four years now and met through blogging. She is a Texan who lives in LA. Janet and I talk almost as much as I talk to my family. I love how people come into your life at times when you didn’t expect it. We are definitely connected, and I can’t imagine her not being in my life! We shot these photos a few weeks back when she was in Dallas.
Janet and I wanted to feature blazers in our shoot and show how we style them (Texas and LA style). We both showed up in Veronica Beard blazers! Janet’s look is very LA cool, and I am a little more ready for a night out. Her blazer is this leather beauty (which I own as well), and mine is this one (few sizes still left here). Veronica Beard nails the blazer! I paired mine with this tee and these leather pants that I have had for about four years now.
Are you all hitting the Black Friday sales online today? Maybe you’ve already finished shopping! If you have, good job! I still have a little bit left to shop for, but most of what I need to do is ship everything out (which will take me a few trips).
