Chambray Shirt with Olive Shorts: A Classic Summer Outfit
A chambray shirt and olive shorts (another cute option here) is a classic summer outfit that is stylish and comfortable. The chambray shirt’s casual look pairs well with the olive shorts’ versatility.
This outfit can be dressed up or down, making it perfect for a variety of occasions.
You can choose a short-sleeved or long-sleeved shirt, depending on your preference. If you choose a long-sleeved shirt, you can roll up the sleeves to add a more casual touch.
Next, I paired the chambray shirt with a pair of olive green shorts. I’m wearing a pair of airy cotton shorts with a drawstring waist and roomy pockets.
Chambray Shirt (small) • Olive Shorts (small, another option here) • Earrings • Crossbody Bag • Wedge Sandals
This Calvin Klein bag is leather, and I love the light grey color for summer. A crossbody bag is convenient because you can keep your hands free while carrying them.
It’s great for walking around town, doing errands, or traveling.
I also styled this outfit with Stuart Weitzman espadrille wedge sandals. These sandals run TTS but are a little wide, so they wouldn’t work if you have a narrow foot.
The Classic Black Linen Dress with a Fedora Hat
The classic black linen dress (a belted option here) is a staple in my summer wardrobe. It’s elegant, versatile, and can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
A fedora hat is the perfect accessory to add a touch of sophistication and style to this timeless look.
I styled this outfit with this adorable tote, and I’ve been using it for my everyday bag. It has plenty of room, and I love the stitching detail.
This black shirtdress would also look cute with a belt, and for a more casual look, wear some white sneakers.

Beauty For the Heart– Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs. 3:5-6
Truth: These verses are a powerful reminder of the importance of trusting God. When we trust God with all our hearts, we are not saying that we understand everything that is happening in our lives. We are simply saying that we believe that God is in control and that He has our best interests at heart.
When we lean on our understanding, we are saying we believe we know better than God.
We are putting our faith in our own abilities rather than in the power of God.
But when we submit to God and trust Him with all our hearts, He promises to make our paths straight. This doesn’t mean that our lives will be easy. It doesn’t mean that we won’t face challenges. But it does mean that God will be with us through it all.
Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!
