Christmas Eve 2020: Count Your Blessings

750

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I would like to encourage you to make it a goal to have a special day and count your blessings….

Yes, even in 2020. I am fully aware that many of you will not experience a Christmas you are accustomed to, or may be alone this year due to the pandemic.

But, in the words of that great philosopher, Bing Crosby, remember this……

Thankfulness is not just for Thanksgiving, but is a powerful tool for the times we are feeling weary.

Instead of focusing on what you don’t have this Christmas, once again, I ask you to focus on the silver linings…what are you thankful for this year.

You may need to write them down. I have even considered making a new ornament for the tree with one word on it for me…HOME….and 2020 on the back.

Being home more this past year has been such a blessing to me. I am going to discuss this more as we enter into a new year.

But, what word would be on your ornament? What blessing would you hang on your tree?

Holiday Joy on Over 50 Feeling 40

I have a feeling that this year, many will watch White Christmas and It’s a Wonderful Life with a new focus and understanding.

Tears may come to the eyes of the strongest who never tear up. Both movies take us back to what really matters…love, kindness, people…JOY!

Join Bing and Rosemary and count your blessings instead of sheep and when you awake tomorrow…it will be Christmas Day and I will be here with a special message.

KEEP SMILING, EVERYONE!
