GIRL’S NIGHT OUT/ DATE NIGHT DRESS

Hi ladies, and Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week. Mine has flown by, but all of them seem to be these days. I pulled something in my rotator cuff and have had a lot of pain for about six weeks. So, I finally got into a doctor that my boys recommended, and I can now say that I know what physical torture feels like (that’s a little bit of an exaggeration)! I went to The Sports Pod and saw Dr. Wu. He is adorable, and one would think not capable of inducing so much pain on someone, but I’m here to tell you it was a beat down; however, I feel SO much better now! My boys had warned me that it is uncomfortable, but he is a miracle worker, and I am going back in two weeks.
Since it’s Friday, it seemed appropriate to talk about Girl’s Night Out or Date Night dresses. The Chic at Every Age girls found this sexy number. We thought it was an easy yet chic dress to wear for a lot of occasions. As you can see, the younger ones were perfectly comfortable wearing it as is, but I felt I needed something over it and found this fab kimono coverup to wear with it. The dress is longer in the back with a slit in the front, and I felt the most comfortable with a little coverage. This dress is super easy and comfortable and can handle many different shoe styles. We all went a bit glam, but a wedge or flat sandal would look great with it too.

Now, here’s the bad news :(. In the time that we shot this (dress fully stocked), it has sold out. However, I found it available in all sizes here in a gorgeous olive green that will look great now and into the fall. I think the reason it sold out was that it’s a great-looking dress, and the price is so darn good. As always, though, I have picked out a few more dresses that are perfect for a Girl’s Night Out or Date Night below.

I am hanging out this morning trying to get some things done around here before I head over to shoot a few looks with my Chic at Every Age girls. I can’t believe that my new grandbaby will be here in the next couple of weeks. So, I am helping my daughter this weekend with things around her house in preparation. I hope to get a little rest because next week will be a beat down (I will tell you on Monday). Also, I do have a real Girl’s Night Out this weekend! I wonder what I should wear?
