Award season is well and truly underway and W Magazine, as always, is jumping on the hype. Back in January, like clockwork, Sara Moonves bestowed upon us the annual ‘Best Performances‘ issue and follows it up with ‘The Directors Issue’ which has ultimately became a regular occurrence since 2019. This year’s offering for Volume #2 2024 gives us a threesome of covers, directed by a trio of Hollywood’s finest. Cover one is Saltburn‘s Barry Keoghan directed by Emerald Fennell.

Secondly, we see actress America Ferrera directed by Barbie‘s Greta Gerwig, who poses in Fendi before the lens of photographer Mickalene Thomas. Anatomy of a Fall‘s Sandra Hüller is directed by Justine Triet on cover three, and captured by photographer Tyler Mitchell wearing a Louis Vuitton dress.
