At times, the advertising campaigns of just about every major fashion brand from across the globe can be quite… formulaic. Leave it up to Jonathan Anderson at Loewe, however, to constantly break the mould, leaving us in absolute awe and most certainly wanting more. The brand’s Pre-Spring 2024 campaign offering has us truly captivated, with Anderson faves Dakota Fanning, Fei Fei Sun, Greta Lee, Josh O’Connor, Mike Faist, Rachel Jones and Taeyong joining none other than screen legend Maggie Smith in the Spanish luxury fashion house’s latest fashion spots.
At 88, the British actress makes for a much-welcomed and refreshing sight posing before the lens of Juergen Teller while giving us all we need – and more (a massive YES for age representation!). The British actress can be found throughout the conceptual campaign, rocking JW Anderson’s newest Loewe collection, dressed by stylist by Benjamin Bruno and in one of the unforgettable campaign images, the actress best known for her role as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies and as Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey poses against a brick wall wearing a giant fuzzy coat and toting one of Loewe’s signature Puzzle bags.

Needless to say, members of our forums were huge fans of Loewe’s latest – because of Maggie. “Loving Maggie’s shots.
