Dressing for the airport is always a conundrum. I'm tempted to wear pajamas but I feel slightly embarrassed to be out in public if I'm dressed too casually. On the other hand, who exactly am I trying to impress? It's not like I have a board meeting to attend!

Thankfully, there's definitely a middle ground between extreme comfort and rigid professionalism. Angelina Jolie, for instance, seems to have mastered the art of airport dressing in her latest look photographed at JFK Airport in New York.

Jolie traveled in fall's #1 dress trend: the maxi dress. Not only is it in style, but it's also a super comfortable and airy option for flying long distances. After all, germaphobes like me hate to wear short hemlines for fear of my legs touching the airplane seat!
