Truth: A runner runs with endurance. Endurance to the runner means the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way.

The runner has the prize in sight and doesn’t give up.

As believers, we, too, run with endurance. Our race is the race of life, and we want to endure, which means to “remain (endure) under” the challenges we are allotted in life. There will be times when the race is difficult. There will be times when we want to give up.

But we must remember that the prize at the finish line is worth it.

Let’s run this life with endurance, always keeping our eye on the prize (Jesus).
