Sitting in front of the computer for several hours each day can be a burden to your eyes. If you work in front of a computer 8 hours a day, sit close to the screen, don’t use any protector or filter such as blue light blockers, and perhaps type in the dark, then by now you’ve probably strained your eyes that you need some prescription glasses. I think I’ll be needing one sometime soon. So it’s important to keep our eyes protected with some blue-light blocking glasses right now and be more caring and gentle to our eyes!
FYI, this is your reminder to get your eyes checked! I did a quick look online and thought I’d share some fun shapes for both types of glasses! Because friends, prescription or blue light glasses don’t have to look dull or ugly!
Prescription or Blue Light Glasses Don’t Have to Look Dull
There are a couple of things that I look for in eyeglasses – whether they are prescription or to block blue light.
- First, they need to complement my face shape! By now, you should already know your face shape – whether it’s square, diamond, heart, oval or round!
A quick Google search and you’ll be able to find articles on the different frames that complement different face shapes complete with diagrams!
- Second, the glasses also need to be a shape that I love. What’s your favorite frame shape? Mine are aviators and cat-eye would probably come in second! I think those two are classic and never go out of style.
Plus, they flatter my face shape!
- Third, I want my eyeglasses to be chic! I love sunglasses because they aren’t just functional, they are a style statement too! So to find eyeglasses with shapes comparable to stylish sunglasses that I love is really awesome!
I’m really happy that prescription glasses and blue light glasses are more versatile in shape, size and style more than ever! Gone are the days when there are only select options when getting prescription glasses.
Now, you can go with pastel colors, tortoise, cat eye and over-sized, among other trendy styles! You know how much I love my sunglasses. So it’s no surprise I’m all for trendy prescription and blue-light blocking eyeglasses too!
So are you all for trendy prescription glasses or are you a classic prescription glasses shape type of person? Do share!
