Beauty For The Heart– What does it mean when we say, “God has been faithful.”

Here are 3 ways God is faithful (there are plenty more but these 3 came to me quickly).

1. God has been faithful to His character. He will be faithful to His moral character and will never rescind His holiness. It’s not possible. Exodus 15:11 says, “Who is like you among the gods, O Lord—glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?

2. God has been faithful to never leave or abandon me. Even when I have wandered from Him, He never left me.

During the best seasons and the worst seasons, God has always been with me. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

3. God is faithful in His grace. God sent His one and only son to live among us and then die on a cross. Three days later He rose and because of His sacrifice, we all have the free gift of grace. God offers eternal life to all who believe in His son, Jesus (John 3:16).

Titus 3:7 says, Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. (NLT)
