We are absolutely living for Steven Meisel as Louis Vuitton’s campaign photographer. Despite an obviously rocky start, the legendary lensman is clearly picking up steam. His latest offering? A series of ads capturing Vuitton’s Capucines handbags alongside Léa Seydoux.

The campaign channels Douglas Kirkland’s iconic Marilyn Monroe photographs with Léa posing in bed sporting minimal makeup.

Our forum members fell in love. “She looks great, even if I’m tired with the Marilyn Monroe looks. I like Marie-Amelie Sauvé’s ‘minimal’ styling here, she should try it more,” admires THD96.
