It’s that time of year, Christmas, which is also my birthday! And each year, I take advantage of the freebies, gift cards and discounts sent to my inbox by companies just by being part of their free rewards programs or just by signing up on their site! I know, I know… some of you don’t want the mess in your email! But hear me out.

Some of these deals are pretty awesome to receive especially if you are going to treat yourself to some goodies on your birthday month. Buying a new dress or shoes for your birthday? Then get it with that gift reward! Want to buy yourself a new handbag?

Then wait for that major discount from your favorite brand. I even use some of the rewards to buy holiday gifts! Even if your birthday month is earlier in the year, you can definitely save some of the discounts to purchase seasonal gifts for others too. Below are some of the brands and the offers they give during your birthday month!

Stores Offering Freebies or Discounts on Your Birthday

Make sure you sign up before you birthday month. A lot of these stores send your perk or free offer on the first day of your birthday month. So if you signed up late, chances are, you’ll have to wait until next year!

1. American Eagle – Join Real Rewards for free, get 25% off coupon on birthday month that can be used on top of other promos.
2. Auntie Anne’s – Download their app on your phone and sign up for their rewards for free.

   Free pretzel on your birthday week.

3. Best Buy – Usually a $5 reward. Sign up for their My Best Buy Rewards for free!
4. Choolah – Free ice cream reward on your birthday. Sign up and download their app for free.
5. Chick Fil A – Free milkshake (sometimes cookie, may vary) on birthday month. Free to sign up!
6. Dunkin Donuts – Free beverage of choice.

   Sign up for DD Rewards for free. Download app for free.

7. DSW – Sign up for their VIP rewards (they are generous with their rewards). And you’ll get $5 on your birthday month. You can use it on top of any other reward and promotion from DSW!
8. Kendra Scott – create an account and don’t forget to add your birthday for a fun surprise!
9. Madewell – Sign up to be a Madewell Insider for free and aside from earning rewards when you make purchases, you get $25 off when you purchase at least $26 on your birthday month.

   So technically, that means you only have to pay $1. Madewell Insiders are also free shipping every time! Last time, I bought a $26 button down shirt that was on sale! This year, I bought a pair of pants that originally cost $180, but PAID only $14.99 after sale, extra discount code, and my $25 gift!

   SCORE!

10. Panera Bread – Free pastry (may vary) on birthday month/week. Just sign up for rewards, useful for discounts on purchases too.
11. Red Robin – Free burger on your birthday! Sign up for free.
12. Sephora – Free gift on your birthday month. No purchase needed if you pick it up in store.
13. Starbucks – Free coffee, any size, on your birthday.
14. Tory Burch – They used to give out a $50 gift card without a minimum amount to purchase on your birthday month.

    This year, probably due to the pandemic, Tory Burch gave out $50 for any $200 purchase. It’s sad but if you plan to buy a bag, then it’s still worth it! Make sure to sign up to their email (currently, you’ll get 10% off your first purchase). And make sure you create an account on their website.

    Just speculation, but I think you’d have to have made at least one purchase to get this reward on your birthday month!

15. Ulta – Sign up to Ultamate Rewards for free. Free gift on your birthday month plus discount code in your rewards page.
16. World Market – Birthday discount, usually 15% off. Sign up to their rewards for free.

I know I’ve missed a lot in this list. So as I remember or see their emails, I’ll make sure to update this list.
