The Fall 2024 season is a-go. In honor of London Fashion Week which runs February 16-20, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and flashing it back to LFW’s Fall 2014 season.

Just like in New York, the landscape across the pond was extremely different also. Perhaps the most surprising was that Tom Ford was part of the British fashion festivities, which marked a year since the designer selected London as the capital in which to showcase his wares. Ford’s collection for Fall 2014 boasted iconic styles from the American West and the pert proportions of the Swinging Sixties.

Henry Holland’s buzzy namesake label House of Holland was still alive and kicking, in addition to the once-thriving businesses of Julian Macdonald, Matthew Williams and Giles Deacon. LFW staple Emilia Wickstead went all goth-metal today with a decidedly masculine edge while Simone Rocha added tartan to her deft and modern ways with heritage fabrics. Christopher Kane was still at the helm of Burberry, who presented a vibrant and breezy collection with hand-painted flower motifs, floaty fabrics and blanket shawls.
