I’ve been on the hunt for a pretty winter white coat for years!! Seriously… I just haven’t found that “one”, ya know? Also, it’s one of those things where I’ll know it’s the one when I see it. Well, that’s what happened the other week when I was on my usual weekly Nordstrom trip (yes it’s weekly).

I had planned to just run in and do a quick return… Then I saw it. This gorgeous winter white coat that was only left in a few sizes. One of them fit me perfectly! Hallelujah!

Now if I could just get the weather to cooperate I could start wearing it all the time.

Anyway, I feel like a lot of people are afraid to wear white in the winter but don’t be. Also, how amazing does this white sweater dress with the coat look? It’s everything me: simple, sophisticated, and chic. Let’s make white the new black for winter!
