When the news dropped of Kristina O’Neill’s departure as editor-in-chief of WSJ. Magazine back in May, we immediately became fearful for the magazine’s future. However, we need not have worried. The publication’s newly-installed editor Sarah Bell has managed to deliver an array of buzz-worthy covers over recent months, which have starred the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Linda Evangelista and Kylie Jenner. WSJ‘s latest cover subject is none other than Angelina Jolie, who features on the magazine’s digital offering for December 2023/January 2024.

Fresh from an appearance on American Vogue, the actress, humanitarian and fashion entrepreneur poses for photographer Annemarieke van Drimmelen in a stunning black and white portrait cover image, complete with styling from Tonne Goodman.

Needless to say, member of theFashionSpot forums were impressed. “How gorgeous!” declared PowerDroid the second the cover came to light.

“That’s a stunning cover, that should have been printed,” chimed in mepps.

“What’s up with Angelina getting digital covers now? A big WTF if you ask me. First that missed opportunity with US Vogue for November and now this?” WAVES voiced.
