ELLE China doesn’t perhaps receive the recognition is deserves here on theFashionSpot – and throughout the industry at large. The magazine has served up a whole plethora of stunning covers for us throughout 2023 which have featured a bevy of Chinese talent including models He Cong, Liu Wen, Du Juan and just recently celebrated its milestone 35th anniversary with a series of spectacular covers celebrating change makers.

To round of the year on a high, Chinese ELLE editor welcomes makeup artist extraordinaire Charlotte Tilbury as cover star, who is joined by her friend, the modeling legend that is Kate Moss on the mag’s vibrant and festive December 2023 cover. Captured by photographer Matt Easton, the industry legends pose up a storm in the corner of Easton’s photographic studio, posing up against a pink backdrop – which immediately caught the attention of our forum members.

“I’m sure the post-production on this shoot was immense, but Kate looks stunning,” raved dodencebt the moment ELLE China’s latest surfaced on the forums.

“Beautiful, even if it’s retouched,” reasoned Ihhbl.

“Gorgeous, joyous, festive and feels like a total celebration of fashion and beauty! This does far more for me than what the six covers of British Vogue‘s December issue were able to deliver.
